Haley Joel Osment

Haley Joel Osment was a child prodigy. Prodigy means a young person (child) with exceptional talents or powers. Meaning they are really smart and very talented. Well I could say that Haley Joel Osment was a child prodigy. He had a good talent and his talent was on the television. He was an actress and not so many kids are really smart and talented like Haley Joel Osment. Haley Osment was incredibly talented. He loved to act and he made movies and commercials. One day Haley Joel Osment and his mom went to Ikea store and there was a talent scout looking for new actors. Haley Joel Osment put desided to put his name down. The talent scout called him for an audition. When he was at the audition, they asked him to describe the biggest thing he had ever seen. His answer was IMAX theater scrren. While You Read - Guided Reading Questions - answer the following questions:

1. What is a prodigy and why the mother want the main character to become one?
A prodigy is a young kid that is really smart or really talented. The mother of the young girl wants her to be a prodigy because she thought she had the talent to be some one famous. She wants her daughter to be a prodigy.

2. How dose the mother prepare her daughter for fame?
The mother's little girl prepare her by taking her to a "beauty salon" which it was actually not managed by professionals. She was asian with curly hair and it was kind of strange. Her mom prepares her with everything.

3. What talents does the girl have?
She don't know what talents she has yet but she is pretty sure its nothing what her mom propose her.

4. Why does she start the piano lessons and how is the mother going to pay for them?
She starts piano lessons because her mom wants her to be good at piano and she wants her to be on a show where she proves she is good at piano. Her mom will pay the guy with cleaning his house.

5. Describe the piano teacher.
The piano teacher is an old retired guy. He is death but he knows how to play the piano.

6. What do Auntie Lindo and Jing-Mei's mother have in common?
They both want the best for them. For example they like the fame.

7. In your own words, relate the events of the recital.

8. What does the author mean when she says, "I didn't have to do what my mother said anymore... This wasn't China"? page 97
She means that she is free and she could dedicte herself on something that she likes not what her mother likes. In China things were different but she realized that she is in the U.S so she has to fallow her dream not what her mom wants.

9. What words does the author use to describe her mother's disappointment in her?
The author says there was a treatment silent. There was was no screaming no sounds she just left to her room and she was upset. She was sad the same way when her other two children died. I think her mom was upset because she lost hope.
10. Why does Jing-mei come back to play the piano after her mother's death?
She played the piano because her mother always kept it as a trophy. Her mom gave it back to her and told her to keep because it was hers. Jing-mei probably plays the piano because she relized she was good at it and she probably plays it in the memorie of her mother and she says thank you to her on that way.

"The most dangerous game" is an amazing story. Rainsford and General Zaroof, both like hunting and that was their game. They both love hunting but each of them have their own meaning for the word hunting. Rainsford thinks that he is a hunter but General Zaroof has a different meaning for hunting. He thinks that hunting is murdering. But what kind of animals dose he murders?
Rainsford was in the ocean planing to go to some place else but he passed through the most scariest forest and he even had chills on goosebumps. Time passed and the boat felt off and Rainsford decided to swim all the way to the most dangerous forest and he heard three bullets and he knew some one was there so he thought he was save. The next morning he met this guy called General Zaroof and he was really kind . He dressed up with elegant clothes and ate the most expensive food. He also ate on the mos expensive plates. He drank elegant champange. Rainsford asked himself why he was so fancy and expensive on a rainforest. Then General Zaroof was like there's no need to be so dirty when we have everything. Response to literature- The Necklace (Essay)

The Necklace By Guy De Maupassant
There's many reasons you should not borrow things from your friends. First of all its not yours and second of all you never know if something is going to happen just like in this case of the story. There was this young lady that was rich and beautiful but on her way she fell in love with some one poor. Well that poor but not as rich as the beautiful girl.
Once her husband got an invitation to the one of the richiest event meaning party. One her husband told her bout it she started crying and she told her that he should give the invitation to some one friend that has a beautiful wife with rich, nice, and cute dresses. Her husband asked why is she saying that, because he thought that his wife wouldv'e been happy to go and have fun. But she said she never had a beautiful evening dress. He told her to wear something cute that she had on the closet but she had seemed like she didn't agreed. Later his husband told her he was going to give her money so that way she buys a dress. She seemed s happy but at the end she didn't had no neacklace and she thought there was no point of wearing an amazing dress without an amazing neacklace. Her husdban gaved her the idea that she could've gone to one of her friend's house and borrow an neacklace, and she agreed. Her friend showed her all the neaklace she had meaning her collection. She saw all of them but none was on her head until her friend showed her the fancy once and she picked the most brilliant, expensive, and gorgeuse neacklace. One the party came every one looked at her and every guy wanted to dance with her, she was really happy and she had a good perfect time. Once they got home she found out that the neaklace was no her neack no more she started crying. Her husband went to look for it but he didn't found it.
No, money can not buy happines beacuse the young lady was used to be rich and now that her husband don't have money she feels horrable. This is the reason she is acting that was but if she was born poor and grew poor, she probably wont be crying to her husband over an expensive dress.
The conflict in the story is the jelousy she had of her friend being rich since she married some guy that worked on the education thing. But soon or later she will be used to it or if not she is going to get tired of her husband not having money and she will divorse him. Then she probably marries some rich guy and be "happy" the way she thinks "happines" is.
I really like the story it showed so much emotions and it was very descriptive and it was one of the stories I liked.

Response to literature - The Neacklace

Can Money buy happines?
Money can not buy happines because no mattter if you have a big mansion but if u don't have nothing or no one that makes you happy theres no way you can be happy. Meaning money dose not buy happines.

Why was Madame Loisel upset when her husband gave her the invitation to the party?
Madame Loisel was upset beacause she don't have a good beautiful, rich dress. So that why she thought there was no point of her going to the party- Quote "Oh, nothing. Only I don't have an evening dress therefore I can't go to that affair. Give the card to some friend at the office whose wife can dress better that I can."

What seems to be the main conflict in the story?
It seems that the main conflict in the story is that they don't have money and that they are poor. But his husband try to give her everything so that way she feels confortable. The other man conflict in the story is that they don't have money to pay the neacklace she had borrowed and lost.

Describe a person

This person that I'm going to describe means a lot to me. This person is a wonderful person a perfect person to be around with, when I'm sad this person knows how to cheer me up, he knows how to put a smile on me and I'm really thankful to have some one like him. Sometimes we spend times together, we walk around and talk about our problems, there's times that we even have a solution for the problem. There's times that we get in our bad side and have an argument but in 10 minutes we are talking again and we forget what we were fighting for.
This guy is tall well not that tall but kind off tall and he has brownish eyes, he has brownish hair and some adorable chubby checks and I really like them. I love to press his checks beacause once I press them they get red. He is really smart and he loves math and sometimes when I need help with my homework he would help me and I'm very thankful for that. He always keep me happy, no matter what. Once I was really sad because I lost my necklace and he saw that I was actually sad and he took me to the park, we sat on a bench and he was with this funny jokes that actually made me smile, no - not only smile but he made me laught. I love his humor. His humor is really wonderful and I think its a really cute thing of him.
All I can say about him are positive things because there's nothing wrong that I can say about him. He is a new world to me and he is a good perfect persron (in my point of view). He means alot to me and I would never ever would like to loose him because persons like him are hard to find, so that's why I'll take good care of him.

Chronology

Chronology is like a time line. Its tells what happen first and what happen next. For example if a baby is born and the mother desides to make a time line saying the baby was born in 1994, her first steps were in 1995, she started kindergarden in 1998. Then she graduated elementry school in 2005 and on and on. This is a great example of chronology.

People change

People change......

1. People change becuase of many different situtions they go throught.
2. People change their emotional feeling based on the past.
3. People also change physiclly.

There's many reasons why people change. In my opinion would be if they change for a good side then I'm okay with it but if that person changes for a bad side then I would be okay with it too becuase there's nothing you can.

Pieter Brueghel, The Adoration of the Kings

http://klp.pl/admin-malarstwo/images/grafiki/1152.jpg This picture shows how people love the baby and how they adore him. He must be very special because theirs no children near them so they must be amazed by looking at baby. They looking at the baby very carefully and they are really surprise. The mother must be feeling really happy. They remind me of Jesus, Holy Mary , and Joseph. I really like this picture because they are really amazed by looking at the baby.

Trust!

Trust is a big part on every body's life. I think without trusting some one you would had your secrets all by your self and that would be very hurtful because you wouldn't have some one to express your feelings to. In some point in life you should be expressed and heard. Trust is an essential part of living together.
Theirs only few people I trust or not even a few. I trust my best friend which I met him since sixth grade and he is the one that understands me. He been with me in good times and bad times. He means a lot to me. He tells me that he trusts me too and I'm happy about that. He tells me his problems and I tell him mine. We are always for each other and I think this is a good example of the meaning of trust.
I trust my family but I actually don't trust them with my personal life. My family is the best family that some one can have. I trust them sometimes I tell them the way i feel. My friend Iris is another person I trust because if I ask her for a favor she is always there for me. She is really nice and way to funny. She is the shoulder I can lean on when I have a problem. I'm sure she trust me too because she tells me her problems.
I think every body has some one that they trust. In couples there has to be trust because if they don't trust each other nothing is going to work out. They will always will have a problem if there's no trust. Friends should also have some trust and even brothers, sisters, mothers, and fathers.
Trust is an important theme. Every one in this whole entire world there's some one that trust some one. Trust is a good signal of commmunication.

Habits!

There's many different habits in life. Every one decides how you manage your habits. Sometimes people have good habits and some have bad habits. I think that your habits is like showing respect to your self . If you respect your self you have perfect habits.
In this two pictures I see good habits. They both have respect of their self. One of the pictures shows a girl eating a fruit salad. This shows that she has a good habit because she is not eating a type of food that has a lot of oil. This means she doesn't eat a lot of oily chicken, beef, or pork. Maybe she eats meat but with a small portion of oil. The second picture shows a guy doing exercise this shows that he wants to loose weight. He must be a healthy guy that eats good nutrition food and he exercise to be on shape.
The meaning of having good habits is to have good steps. In some points habits are with other cases for example school, work, and home.

Dear Mr. Wang,

We are students from Jessica High School. We love this high school because we learn a lot of new things. We learn different kind of themes for example math, global history, and so many other stuff. We have so much fun at Jessica High School. We have a lot friends and we love that.
In the other hand there is a group of people that I have seen that they have weapons like knives. But after I notice they have knives I don't feel safe like before. We really like this high school, it's really neat and it's not fair that they get markers and start doing graffiti. They also have electronic device and we don't bring electronic device to school. We as students fallow the rules of the electronic device and you don't know they have cell phones.I'm not trying to say that they should not have cell phones. My point is that they should not take cell phones to Jessica High School. In my opinion is that you should do a random search. If they have knives then you should suspend them as soon as possibles because we come to school and feel safe. If they have a cell phone then you should make them to turn it off. Once you see that they use them on the class room you should pick the cell phone up and give them back at the end of the day. If this continues with the same person then you should call their parents to pick the cell phone up.
I'm looking forward to be searched by you or the staff. But u should search that group of people. Hopefully everything is okay.
Sincerely, Jessica

Writing prompt 2

In this world there's so beautiful nice places but only one makes us feel good, it makes us feel safe, and happy. The world is big and huge, there's so many places to explorer. Sometimes someone doesn't even know whats his or her favorite place. I love so many places but only makes me smile and makes me happy and relaxed.
My favorite place to be at is on the pool at up state because its so nice and fresh . I like that place because there's no one on the pool just me and my family, it also makes me feel like I own the pool.
When we went to the pool I through my self on the pool I felt so cold. When we barley got on the place it smells like plants and it was so nice. The grass was really green and it even wanna make me touch the grass. I wanted to sleep on the grass because it seemed so soft. I also liked the tress because they seemed so tall and green. First we went to eat some delicious food, we went to eat a Chinese buffet. I ate some rice with chicken and some hot sauce. I really liked the food. At the end I ate fruit and jello. I was really full and I didn't wanna eat no more. Once we finished eating we went to the hotel it was not a hotel it was like a little house with 4 rooms. I had this nice room.
The room was really big and it smelled
so good, the smell made me happy. It smelled like lavender but it had another smell its unexplainable. Once I got in, I took my clothes out of my bag and put it on the closet,I jumped in my water bed. I was really scared because the bed inside the bed there was water and I was more even scared because I didn't want the bed to pop. But I really liked the bed. I had so much fun jumping up and down, I felt like a queen with a really soft bed. The last day was the last day of my funniest time and memory, I was really sad. I felt like crying but I knew it was just vacations so I decided to go to the pool for the last time and relax myself in the special room for the last time.
This is my special place and hopefully I go back on the next vacations. I picked this place because i had so much fun and it made me forget about my problems and sadness.
